We need to change how we prepare.

I’ve been there both pregnancies; prenatal yoga, prenatal pilates, calm birth classes, prenatal acupuncture - nurturing everything physical and it’s important of course, yet we fail to nurture ourselves emotionally and mentally as we transform into a mother. 

This unbalance and fixation on our body’s performance during pregnancy, labour and birth leaves little room and consideration for our mental state, the metamorphosis into motherhood and the becoming of a mother.

It is no wonder we travel on autopilot and hit the 4,5, 6 month mark post birth and crash, and we’re left thinking ‘what the hell just happened to me, the woman I was, who am I?’

It’s time to redefine and  and time to do things differently. Start on the right path and thrive not just survive. 

How amazing would it be to give yourself the gift of nurturing yourself right from the beginning, learn about your transformation and understand why you may feel the way you do and and feel confident and empowered as you become a mother.

Let’s choose differently and prepare for you’re transformation holistically; physically, mentally and emotionally.
